The Will & Grace set is moving to LA…what do you think we should do with the space?
Library Black Box Design Workshop
Call for Participants
In order to aid students in their various projects, the Iwasaki Library seeks talented and informed individuals with the widest possible range of knowledge and talents to contribute to an exciting design workshop at the Library on February 4, 2014 from 1-4pm.
What is the Library Black Box?
- A newly available space in the library measuring 640 square feet
- An opportunity for collaboration, experimentation, and creativity
- A place for Emerson students to accomplish things, both personal and academic
- Former home to the Will & Grace set
Who is eligible?
Anyone with something to contribute is welcome. We seek representatives from all elements of the student body: all class years, all departments, all ages, on- and off-campus, from all parts of the country and the world.
Are you a graphic artist in your spare time? Taking your first design tech class? Does everyone in your department know you? Is this just the marketing challenge you’ve been waiting for? Maybe you visit the library daily…or maybe you *never* use the library.
We want people who know how people in their department, class year, or group use the library.
How do I apply?
Fill out the Application Form and submit it to Cate Hirschbiel at firstname.lastname@example.org by January 31st. We want to know a little bit more about you and your skills, what coursework or experience you have, and one reference. If you have any questions, feel free to email us or stop by the library.
Application due: January 31st
Design workshop: February 4th 1-4pm
Progress report: March 10th
Projected opening of the new Library Black Box space: Fall 2014
